Consortium 499's fascination with electronica originates way back to the groundbreaking classic electronic sound of the seventies. Heavily influenced by the work of venerable artists such as Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Synergy, Vangelis and Tomita - then further mutated by the '90's trance vibe of 808 State, Orbital, System 7, Fortran 5, and Astralasia - Consortium 499 embarked on a personal musical sojourn to carve a unique niche in the vast and varied tabula of electronica.
